prying needles part my skin, sucking out my life. the blood that flows only for you is taken from me, by force. in the vial of red, all that exists is your warmth, slowly turning cold. this fear twists in my wound, relentlessly, gritting like a knife. and i scream at the loss of you, until my voice is hoarse.
skillfully, my sinews are undone, my tendons sliced. my muscles are exposed to the cold air; chlorine. i can feel myself burning, my only thoughts incoherent. as the lights come back on, i see my skin on the floor, diced. alive like a zombie, i think of you and your love unseen.
next, my muscles are dissolved in acid, burning through bone. and my ligaments, they go right away, mixed in with scummy excrement. i am left bare to the bone, my organs working only for you. and then, down my heart cavity, a bright light shone. i hear voices, agreeing that this is the last experiment.
my ribcage is emptied, left vacant at the heart. and the heart, it stops beating, leaving me for dead. i can feel not a thing now, only your memory. and as my heart is searched, exploited, torn apart, it is thrown aside, my brain is now targeted.
my skull is hammered, my cranial fluids leaking. and my brain is excruciatingly pulled out in one whole piece. and yet, observed under the instruments that have no names, my brain does not betray you, no hiding and no seeking. and then, it is finally ruled that i am useless, not a turncoat fleece.
and now they head for you, my love, and i want to scream. but without my body, i cannot really do any of anything. but i know, my beloved, that on this cross of tyranny, you live on only in my soul, not in this body beyond a dream. although, despite all of it, i wish to me you could sing...
one last lovely lullaby, my dear, and everything will turn to stone and dissipate into dust. and we would live forever, against all odds, in a paradise we would build on our trust.
cry not, my darling, your tears are not meant to be wasted on futile arguments.
all the malice in the world is not enough to keep us apart, for we are together in being, not in the nervous brain or the frantic heart.
